PRAISE GOD

The Lord dwells among the praises of His people. He created man to declare His praises. Praise moves the hand of God to do mighty miracles.The Lord knows the problems we face in life. He knows our struggles and hardships that we go through. When we praise God amidst our problems, He will release the desired miracle in our lives. There shall be no defeat, sickness or lack in our lives when we praise Him.
When I was a young girl, my mother made me to learn the hymns and songs of praise by heart. But, being young, I would retort and shun her words as silly. Later, when I got married to a man of God, I dedicated myself to the Lord’s service. My mother came and lived with us for some time. She taught me songs of praise and I would sing them whenever I was alone. The songs would invoke the presence of God and whenever my husband and I sang them, our home used to be filled with the presence of God.
Praise strengthens our faith. The peace of God will invade our homes. There shall be no room for strife and the devil shall be defeated in our lives.
Jeshoshaphat was a King of Judah who feared the Lord and walked in His ways (2 Chronicles 17:3). Once, a great multitude of Moabites, Ammonites and Meunites came against King Jeshoshaphat to battle. The King looked up to God and said that they were no match against the great multitude of people against them. The Lord counselled him and the King did exactly as the Lord had said. In the battle, they sang praises of the Lord as they marched forward. As they sang praises, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir who had come against Judah, and they killed themselves (2 Chronicles 20:1-22).
Every man of Jehoshaphat army returned to Jerusalem with great joy, for the Lord made them rejoice over their enemies (2 Chronicles 20:27).
Yes, Beloved! Praise releases the miracle of God. We must sing His praises among the brethren and in the midst of the congregation too (Psalm 22:22). No weapon of satan can prosper against us when we praise God.
When we set our eyes on God alone and praise Him, we too can experience the mighty and glorious power of God in our lives.
Prayer: -
Gracious Heavenly Father,I praise You for You are great and mighty. Father, I thank You for Your presence that fills me whenever I praise You. I thank You that the plans of the devil is defeated in my life. Father, let my praises be a sweet aroma to You and let them bring a mighty miracle in my life. In Jesus name’ I pray.
