Let there be a revival, O Lord!
Psalms 11:4 - 7
4 The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD is on his heavenly throne. He observes the sons of men; His eyes examine them. 5 The LORD examines the righteous, but the wicked and those who love violence his soul hates. 6 On the wicked he will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching wind will be their lot. 7 For the LORD is righteous, he loves justice; upright men will see his face.
My heart is heavy within me and my eyes cannot control its tears. The news that I heard in the morning is killing me. Where is my country heading? Why is my country having so much of corrupted citizens? Two things that are becoming a common thing in India is bomb blasts and child / women abuse.
Within last 2 days there has been bomb blasts in Banglore and Ahmedabad. Yesterday itself there were 17 bomb blasts in Ahmedabad leaving 38 dead and more than 100 injured. Just imagine the situation of the family members of the victims. They are all innocent blood, why does man have to kill another innocent man just for his selfish needs. Why does innocent children have to become orphans?
The other most infectious virus spreading among men is child / women abuse and they are so much infected and cruel that they even do it to their own daughters. 3 incidents in Kerala reported lately are about Father's sexually abusing his own child and not only that but also presenting them to other men just with the intension of making money (money to drink that to) and the child remains without any courage to even share it to their mother's as they are threatened by their Father's that they will be killed if done so. In one of the incidents the mother accidentally saw the father trying to rape the daughter and because of which the cruel father killed his wife and all their four children and dumped their bodies in the septic tank and fled.
All this is making my heart heavy. I can't even imagine the pain or the depth of sorrow they may be going through. The very hands from which the child expects love and shelter are destroying them. Lord I cannot do anything but as your word says you are watching all from your Heavenly Throne and you can only reward the wicked in the right way as they deserve and give justice to the innocent. I can only pray for these innocent people and for the revival of the citizens of my country as well as the people of this world.

Dear Lord, thank you for giving us this opportunity to pray for the suffering hearts. Lord Father we cry out to you for all the families that have lost their loved ones and for all the children or women who have been tortured or physically abused. Lord melt the hearts of such cruel people who do anything just to satisfy their needs or their cravings of the lustful heart. Lord please break them and mould them. Revive their hearts O Lord. Please take away such wickedness from this world. Lord we know that these are the end days and that many things like this will happen but still Lord please let not innocents souls suffer. Lord we also pray for all the countries that are prone to natural disasters and violence. Heavenly Father have mercy on us. We cry out to you hear our prayer. We bow down and lift up our hands to you. We humble ourselves and pray with a broken heart. Hear us O Lord; please turn your ears to our cry. Gracious Lord let no child be abused by her own Father. Let such inhumane act be banished from every hearts. Let your Holy Spirit wash away all such wickedness from the face of the earth. Lord help us to be humble and reverent to you always. Let thy Holy Spirit abide in us always. Turn our hearts from wickedness and from all filthy thoughts. Lord hold us tightly in your arms and surround us by your divine protection. Lord you will never allow any harm to your children so please protect all your children. Lord we cry out to you in one voice. Thank you for hearing our cries. Thank you so much for answering our prayers. All this we ask in the precious, mighty and gracious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen!
